The CIGRE’s Romanian National Committee as organizer and Constanta Maritime University as co-organizer, would like to take this opportunity to invite to register for the International Regional South-East European Conference 2026 – RSEEC 2026 Next Generation Network (8th edition) that will take place in Romania – Constanta, September 22nd – 24th, 2026, at Constanta Maritime University in the heart of the city. At its 8th edition, RSEEC is a major biennial event dedicated to the young engineers generation and the 5th edition of the Next Generation Scientific Contest with prizes.

Konstantin Papailiou, President of global CIGRE, will participate in the Regional South East European Conference (RSEEC) 2026, that will take place in Constanta, Romania between September 22nd – 24th 2026.

The presence of the President of CIGRE (the largest professional association in the field of electricity) at our conference is a recognition of the performance of the Romanian National Committee of CIGRE and the fact that RSEEC has become, in the 7 editions so far, a reference regional event for researchers and practitioners in the field of power systems.

We are expecting several hundred practitioners, executives, researchers and policy makers to attend and discuss ground-breaking innovations, to present fundamental and technological developments and to promote key suppliers of products and services for electrical power systems. 

The main topics of RSEEC 2026 cover the technical activities of minimum 9 (nine) CIGRE Study Committees: A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, B3, B5, D1 & D2.

The conference will include tutorials, technical papers sessions and a 2 days exhibition.

The working language of the symposium is English. All printed materials will be published in English.
